The final result:
Step 1. Create a New Document
First let’s create a new document in Photoshop. Let’s go File – New …(File> New ..). Set the following settings Width (Width) 2000 px, Height (Height) 3000 px, Resolution (Resolution) 300 ppi (pixels / inch). Click OK.
Step 2. Create the Back Background
Create a new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N), set the foreground color to # 0d455f, and the background color to # 12ced0. Choose a tool Gradient (gradient tool). Set the method Radial (Radial), the type of gradient from foreground color to background color. Fill the new layer with the selected gradient.
Press the “D” key to set the foreground and background colors to default. Now select the tool Pen (pen tool) and using this tool create a shape as shown in the screenshot below:
Create a new layer, select the tool. Brush (brush tool). Press the F5 key to display the brush settings window. In the brush set menu, select the Grass brush, and also uncheck the box Color dynamics (color dynamics). While on a new layer, paint over the outline of the drawn shape that we created in the previous step.
Select tool again Pen (pen tool). Create a shape that looks like a house shape:
Set the foreground color to # eb8f18. Choose a tool Rectangle (rectangle tool). Draw a rectangle on top of the house shape.
Draw another rectangle. In mode Contours (Path) apply option Subtract contour area (subtract) to subtract from the previous figure.
Draw another rectangle in the same way as in Step 7.
Duplicate the resulting window shape. Arrange the duplicates, as shown in the screenshot below:
Create another new layer. While on a new layer, paint over with a bright yellow brush, thereby adding light to the windows.
Change the blending mode for the layer with the yellow glow to Light replacement (Lighten) and also reduce Opacity (opacity) layer to 57%, and Fill (fill) layer up to 82%.
Press the “D” key to set the foreground and background colors to default. Create a new layer. On a new layer, draw two trees using the Trees brush.
Create a new layer, fill it with clouds, for this we go Filter – Rendering – Clouds (Filter> Render> Clouds). Change the blending mode for the cloud layer to Soft light (soft light) and also reduce Opacity (opacity) up to 66%, and Fill (fill) up to 71%.
Choose a tool Ellipse (ellipse tool), draw a circle. To create a perfect circle, hold down Shift
Create another circle. In mode Contours (Path) apply option Subtract contour area (subtract) to subtract from the previous figure.
Double click on the layer with the Moon to display a window with layer styles. Choose a layer style External glow (Outer Glow). Set the settings that are shown in the screenshot below:
Create a new layer, on the new layer draw bats:
Next, open the original image with a magical sky. Move this image to our working paper. Change the blending mode for the sky layer to Hard light (Hard Light). Decrease Opacity (opacity) layer to 84%, and Fill (fill) layer to 74%.
Now we will change the color of the sky so that it looks like the night sky. Let’s go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Hue / Saturation (Layer> New adjustment> Hue / Saturation):
Step 20. Add Zombies
Open the original image with zombies. While on the zombie layer, select the zombie image, to do this, hold down the (Ctrl) key + click the layer thumbnail to load the active selection. Next, go Selection – Refine Edge (select> Refine edge) or press the keys (Alt + Ctrl + R) to clarify the edges of the selected area, thereby making them softer and more distinct.
Copy the selected zombie image (Ctrl + C) and then paste (Ctrl + V) onto our working paper.
Activate the tool Free transformation (free transfrom tool (Ctrl + T)). Next, flip the image with the zombies horizontally.
Next, with the tool Eraser (eraser tool), clean the extra small fragments on the edges of the image.
Double click on the zombie layer to display a window with layer styles. Select layer styles Inner shadow (Inner Shadow) and Gradient overlay (Gradient Overlay). Set the settings that are shown in the screenshot below:
Next, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Hue / Saturation (Layer> New adjustment layer> Hue / Saturation). Remember to convert this adjustment layer to a clipping mask.
Switch to the adjustment layer mask Hue / Saturation (Hue / Saturation) and with the help of a soft black brush hide the effect of correction on the areas that are marked in the screenshot below.
Create a new layer with the settings that are shown in the screenshot below. Using tools Dimmer and clarifier (burn and dodge tool), paint over the zombie image to add chiaroscuro.
Step 28. Vignette
Create a new layer, press the keys (Ctrl + A) to load the active selection of the entire scene. Next, go Editing – Stroke (Edit> Stroke). Set the value Widths (Width) by 50px, stroke color # 000000.
Next, on a layer with a stroke, apply a filter Gaussian blur (Gaussian blur), for this we go Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur (Filter> Blur> Gaussian blur). Install radius (Radius) blur 105.8 px. Press the keys (Ctrl + D) to cancel the active selection.
Step 30. Lighting Effects
Next, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Brightness / Contrast (Layer> New adjustment layer> Brightness / Contrast).
Next, add a new adjustment layer. Curves (Curves).
Add more Curves (Curves):
To enhance the lighting effects, add an adjustment layer. Levels (Levels).
Create a new layer. Fill this layer Linear gradient (linier gradient). The gradient colors are # eabe0f and # 045d17.
Change the blending mode for the gradient layer to Soft light (Soft Light). Set the value Opacity (opacity) 67%, and the value Fillings (fill) 87%.
