In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a spring poster in Photoshop. You can use this theme with the spring revival to create posters, flyers, invitations for various events, such as wedding events. This is a simple lesson that is ideal even for a beginner level.
The final result:
Create a new document in Photoshop. Fill the layer with Background (Background) color shade # 94c8c6. Navigate Filter – Noise – Add Noise (Filter> Noise> Add Noise). Set the noise level.
Select a grunge texture. Move it to our working paper with the tool. Move (Move Tool).
Next, go Image – Correction – Isohelium (Image> Adjustments> Threshold). Install Brightness threshold (Threshold Level) so that only white dots and small lines are visible, as shown in the screenshot below.
Let’s go Filter – Noise – Add Noise (Filter> Noise> Add Noise). Set the noise level, which is shown in the screenshot below.
Change the blending mode for the layer with the grunge texture to Light replacement (Lighten) and install Opacity (opacity) layer between 70% – 100%. Set the degree of opacity at your discretion within the specified value.
Write your text in the middle of the image using any font you like. I used Bakery font, which can be downloaded for free at the link at the beginning of the lesson. The text color is # f6f4ee.
Open the original pigeon image. Move this image to our working paper, placing the pigeon, as shown in the screenshot below.
Duplicate the dove image layer. Press the keys (CTRL + T) to transform a duplicate layer. Install Horizontal scale (horizontal scale) by -26%, and Vertical scale (Vertical scale) by 26%, as shown in the screenshot below.
Open the original image with a couple in love. Using one of the selection tools, remove the background in this image. You can also use the tool Eraser (Eraser Tool) to remove the background. Next, move the selected image of the couple in love to our working paper.
Do not worry if the selection around the image is imperfect, because we apply the effect of spraying, you can create this effect by viewing the lesson on the site; You can also use a free action to create this effect. If you decide to use the action, then you need to process the selected image in love with a couple, after opening the original image in a new document.
Create some more duplicates with a dove. Scale up duplicates to about 120% and then apply a filter. Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur), for this we go Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur). Install Radius (radius) blur 4 px. Position the wings in the corners of the image, as shown in the screenshot below. If you want, you can use the Feather brushes by downloading them from the link at the beginning of the lesson, the color of the brush is # ebead9.
Open the image with climbing plants. Using the selection tool, select the branch with leaves that you like. Place the branch with the leaves in the beak of the pigeon. Apply scaling and rotation to make the twig look realistic.
Next, add a climbing plant to the top of the image. Apply filter Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) to add depth to the image.
Add foliage to the foreground. Apply filter Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur).
To complete the composition, add more leaves of different sizes on separate layers. To the added petals, apply filters. Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) and Motion blur (Motion blur) to add speakers. Apply scaling and rotation to make the leaves look realistic.
Add a Solar Flare texture to our working paper. Change the blending mode for this texture layer to Lightening (Screen).
You can also add light highlights as additional light effects. Add light highlights that you like, change the blending mode for layers with light highlights to Lightening (Screen) or Light replacement (Lighten)
Next, add an adjustment layer. Gradient map (Gradient Map) on top of all other layers. Change the blending mode for this adjustment layer to Overlap (Overlay) and also reduce Opacity (opacity) layer up to 50%. The gradient colors are # 153433 and # b5a47e, but you can use any color shades that you like.
As a final touch, apply a filter. Colour contrast (High Pass) to enhance image sharpness.
You can use the frame to best represent your work. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial. See you again!
