In this tutorial, you will learn how to create wallpaper for Christmas. This is what we should have at the end.
First, create a new dimension document. 800×600 pix. Create a new layer and fill gradient
. Colors # 02314F – # 48C0ED – # 001847 (gradient direction – from top to bottom). Gradient type: mirror.
Choose a tool brush
(brush tool) and load the brushes from the standard set “wetmediabrushes”(Wet brush) and select the brush Watercolor Fat Tip.
Select a gradient layer and create layer mask 
. Fill it with black and set the brush color to white. Use brush about 120pix. and opacity 60%. On the layer mask, draw arbitrary lines, as shown. Rename the layer as “sky”.
Create a new layer above it and name it “Snow border”. Use the same brush , As in the previous step, set the foreground color to white and the opacity to 100%. Draw snow around the bottom of the document. You can also tweak the left and right border.
Create new adjustment layer “levels” and set the values: 11, 0.50, 255.
Create a new layer above it and name it “slope”. Reduce the size of the brush by 4 pixels. and opacity at 100%. Draw something like the image below. You can draw as you like, but it will be much easier if you use a tablet.
Draw another slope next to it.
Create a new layer and name it “huts”. Brush size 50 pix. and the opacity is 50%. Draw points on the slopes, these will be huts.
Then set the brush size to 4 pixels. and opacity at 100%. Draw a few houses, as in the figure below.
Create a new layer and name it “snow.” Use the same brush settings and draw a few dots all over the document.
Create a new layer and name it glitter. Draw a cross with the tool pencil (pencil tool) and erase edges eraser 
.
Rotate the star by 45 degrees, duplicate and place on the whole document.
Create a new layer and name it “lens” draw a big white circle and using eraser large radius erase the center.
Duplicate several times and place throughout the document.
Create a new layer and name it “Santa Claus” With the tool brush, 4 pixels and opacity 100% draw a sketch of Santa Claus.
Create a new layer below the outline and paint the white areas. Draw in circular motions to achieve the desired effect.
Repeat the same for the red area.
Next, fill in the skin.
Add points.
Create some highlights and shadows.
Now select the tool brush “star” 14px Open the brush palette and set the mark. options.
Finally, create a new layer and write your wishes. Apply style external glow (outer glow) for a more effective result. That’s all! Hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
