Making colorful wallpapers for Valentine’s Day in Photoshop

Although there is still plenty of time before Valentine’s Day, we will start preparing for this wonderful holiday right now.

Now how to do this?
Create a new document (Ctrl + N) with a resolution of 1280 by 1240, RGB color mode, resolution 72 pixels. Now choose Custom shape tool (Arbitrary figure) (U). Take the shape of the Heart.

In the center of our document we place the selected shape and fill it with color. # A96E52

Now we have to make a lot of copies of the last layer and then click Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctrl + T) to increase the size of each subsequent copy. Change their colors as shown in the image below. Each subsequent copy should be located under the previous one.

On the layers panel, double-click on the fifth heart layer. In the opened window, activate the Gradient Overlay (gradient overlay)

Create a new layer and select a round soft white brush. Brush tool (B); Opacity 25%

Using this brush we draw several highlights on the heart:

Apply to the layer with highlights layer mask . On it we emphasize the edges with a hard round brush:

Take Pen Tool (P) (Pen) and draw the following and fill it with white:

Fill (Fill) 50% layer

Create a new layer. Take a tough round white brush :

Draw a spot on the heart with this brush:

Via FreeTransform (Ctrl + T) (Free Transformation) place the spot as shown in the figure, duplicate the spot:

Fill (Fill) 66% layer

Now with the help Pen tool (P) (Feather) circle the bottom of the heart:

The layer blending mode is changed to Linear dodge (linear clarifier), and Fill (fill) 11%

Create a new layer. On it is soft round brush this color # ED1F78 draw several spots of different sizes Opacity 20%

Decrease Fill (Fill) layer up to 67%

Create new fill or adjustment layer (New adjustment layer) Curves.

It turns out like this:

Create a new layer. Take soft brush yellow, Opacity 5%.

Fill the entire image with this brush. We just blacked out the picture.

Create a new layer. Unfortunately, the author of the lesson does not give a link to the link brush that we now need. But there are many similar brushes on the Internet, so there will be no problems with it.
