Multicolored typographic poster

Step 1 – Creating the Background
To create the background, we use a three-color radial gradient of yellow – light blue – dark blue. As you can see, I made the center light to focus on this particular part. Then we find a photograph of the sky and impose it on the document, after we change blending mode (overlay mode) layer with the sky and using layer masks we hide those parts that do not suit us.

Step 2 – Basic Content
Here we begin to create the central element of the entire poster. To create a heart shape, use the tool. Custom shape tool (Arbitrary form) (u). To apply the stroke, go Layer – Layer Style – Stroke (Layer – Layer Style – Stroke), select the desired color and size. After we add inside the heart the text consisting of adjectives and adverbs.
Pay attention that words should not be in a disorderly state, but be interconnected with each other, that is, form short phrases. For each word we use a different level. opacity (opacity).

Step 3 – Decorating
In this step, add flowers and leaves around the heart to make the background more interesting. We hide the extra areas and adjust the location of objects in order to achieve a good result.

Step 4 – More Decorating
Add more objects: parrot, lion, lime … Again we mask the extra areas.
I want to draw your attention to the fact that I have not changed any of the objects blending mode (overlay mode).

Step 5 – Begin to add parts
We continue to add details. In the background I drew a few abstract lines, and also added splashes. To make the work look more voluminous, it will not be superfluous to create a shadow behind the heart and behind all the elements around it.
You can use Drop shadow (Shadow) of Layer style (Layer style). Or paint them yourself with a big soft black brush with a low level flow (push) and opacity (opacity).

Step 6 – Add Depths
We continue to work on the background. Add a polaroid picture to the background and draw more abstract lines and splashes. I also created more text in the snapshot. For the spray layer use blending mode (overlay mode) Multiply (Multiplication).

Step 7 – Editing Lines
To create such lines for decorating work, I used simple rectangular shapes of different colors and hid the edges with layer masks and grunge brushes to give a fade effect. Such things will look spectacular in abstract works and in grunge style.

As you can see below, I used simple rectangular shapes created with the tool to create lines. Rounded rectangular tool (Rounded Rectangle) (U). Then I deleted the edges with a grunge brush.

Step 8 – Adjustment Layers
We are almost done. Only a few strokes remain. Now we will correct the color, make it brighter and richer. To do this, use the adjustment layer Curves (Curves) (CTRL + M) and Gradient map (Gradient map) with blending mode (overlay mode) Soft light (Soft light).
In addition, on top of all the work I put the texture in the form of diagonal lines.

Step 9 – Light Flashes
To decorate the work, add a few bright spots. Create a new layer and set a soft round brush of different colors in the most favorable places. Also in this way you can cover up bad places.
