In this Photoshop tutorial, you will learn how to draw a texture in a classic protective color.

Create a new document of the size you need.

Set the base color to # 777676 (gray), and background on #FFFFFF (white) and go to menu Filter >> Render >> Clouds (Filter – Rendering – Clouds). Apply the filter once so that it’s something like this:

It’s time to paint our texture in green. Why click Ctrl + U, check the window “colorize“(toning) was ticked.

After pressing “OK”, move to the menu Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness / Contrast. Set the following settings:
brightness = -17; contrast = +34. This will give the texture a more real look.

Duplicate the layer. Select the top and go to the menu Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur (Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur).

Set the radius to 2.7px not more.

Click OK, then set a layer with a blur effect transparency thirty%.

Then go to menu Filter >> Brush Strokes >> Crosshatch (Filter – Stroke – Cross Strokes) and make the following settings:

Repeat the same with the bottom layer. Although you can change a little sharpness to achieve the real effect of clothing.

At the moment, your texture will look like this:

If you do not want to stop there, then you can still apply one filter. Apply Filter >> Texture >> Texturazer (Filter – Texture – Texturizer) and apply the following settings:

Now from this canvas you can sew clothes for soldiers!
