Step 4. Create two new layers to write a letter on each layer.
On the first layer write the letter “O”. Font select: Hurricane, Porcelain, or Poesie_Noire (or any tex with beautiful curls, I liked Rurintania, only you need to write a capital letter).

Text size set 160 pt. or more, or less, depending on the size of the image, the color is White. Change the Overlay mode for this layer to Overlap (Overlay) and lower the layer Opacity to thirty%.

On the second layer, write another letter “O”, place it a little lower than the first, or change the position with the help of a transformation (you can slightly reduce it). Change the Layer Layer to Overlap, and reduce the layer opacity to 15%

Step 5. Create a new layer. Holding the key Ctrl, Click on the thumbnail of the layer with the heart.

Take the tool “BrushValentine card(Brush), small 15px., for example, brush opacity reduce to 50%, Stiffness put 0%, Colour White. And draw highlights. Draw, as if layering color, on each other, so that you have a transition.

Now change the brush color to Black and increase the size, up to 80 pixels. draw a shadow on the heart. Try to draw the transition as smoothly as possible. Gently layered color on each other, slightly shifting the brush to the bottom of the heart a little, as a result you should have a smooth transition from transparent black to opaque Black.
Change the blending mode for this layer to Overlap and reduce the layer Opacity to 70%.

Step 6. Create a new layer. If you have already removed the selection, select the heart again.
Take the black brush. Choose a beautiful texture brush, if you don’t have one, the brushes from the standard set will do. Make a couple of prints on the heart. Change the Layer Layer to Overlap and reduce the layer Opacity to 30-40%.

Step 7. Now draw a semblance of “wings growing on the back.”
Go to the very first layer (Background). Create a new layer. Write the letter “ABOUT»The same font that they wrote in the heart. The color is the same as the heart itself.
The author chose the letter “ABOUT“Because of all the letters in handwritten fonts, this letter is the most interesting framed.

Place this letter at the base of the heart. Reduce the layer Opacity to 60%. You can also add Standing Style – Gradient Overlay (Layer style – Gradient overlay) is the same as for the heart and change the angle with the help of Free Transformation.

Now copy this layer (Ctrl +J) and press Ctrl +T, right click on the transform window – Flip horizontally. Place the letter on the opposite side of the heart. Align both letters.

Valentine card

Step 8. Add a little more showiness to our “wings”.
Copy each of the layers with the “wings”. Reduce duplicate layer opacity to 20% and move each one down a little.

That’s what you get in the end.

Valentine card

* instead of patterned text, you can use patterned brushes, as well, each brush imprint on a new layer *

I wish you good luck in execution.
