Before you start
So that we can change our objects easily, use the tools in figure mode. It doesn’t matter what you create: a circle, a triangle, a rectangle, etc. Each vector tool needs to be configured as follows:

Document setup
Create a new document sized 600×600 pixels with a resolution of 72dpi. The background color is white. You can use any name.

Step 1 – Setting the Background
Double click on the background layer to unlock it. Name the layer “Background”. Apply style to it Gradient overlay (Gradient Overlay) (click on the fx icon at the bottom of the layers palette and select the desired item).

Choose a tool Ellipse (Ellipse Tool) (U) and draw a circle with a diameter of 600 pixels. Name this layer “Backlight”, set the layer Fill to 0%. Apply the Gradient Overlay style:

Choose a tool Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctr + T). In the settings above, set the value of the Y axis to 0 pixels. Then right-click on the shape layer and select Convert to smart object (Convert to Smart Object). Fill layer will return to 100%.

Step 2 – Drawing the Cardboard Part
Create a new group (Create New Group) and name it “Display Board”. Set the fill color to white. Choose a tool Rounded Rectangle (Rounded Rectangle Tool) (U), set the radius to 8 pixels and create a 490×356 pixel shape. Name the layer “Main Shape”.

Choose a tool Pen (Pen Tool) (U), in the settings above, set the value to Cut from the shape area (Subtract form Shape Area). Draw a shape as shown below.

Step 3. Drag the “Main Shape” layer onto the icon for creating a new layer. You will receive a copy of the layer. Make three copies and name them “Main Light”, “Top Light” and “Shadow”.

Step 4. Set the blending mode of the “Shadow” layer to Overlap (Overlay) and Opacity (Opacity) – 9%, Fill (Fill) – 0%. Apply style Gradient overlay (Gradient Overlay):

Step 5. Set the blending mode of the “Main Light” layer to Overlap (Overlay) and Opacity (Opacity) – 75%, Fill (Fill) – 0%. Apply style Stamping (Bevel and Emboss):

Step 6. Select the “Top Light” layer, select the tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool), set the value Cut from the shape area and create a shape like below.

Choose a tool Outline selection (Path Selection Tool) (A), make a selection of the entire canvas and click on the button Combine (Combine):

Step 7. Make a copy of the “Backlight” layer and place it above the “Top Light” layer. Drag the vector mask of the “Top Light” layer onto the “Backlight copy” layer. Delete the “Top Light” layer and rename the “Backlight Copy” layer to “Top Light”. Set the Opacity of this layer to 55%.

Step 8. Select the “Main Shape” layer and apply a style Pattern overlay (Pattern Overlay). Click on the pattern and select the “Artist Surfaces” set.

Select the “Stone” pattern (80×80 pixels).

Step 9. Tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool) (U) Draw the shape shown below. Name this layer “Design” and place it above the “Main Shape” layer.

Right click on the layer and select Convert to smart object (Convert to Smart Object), then right-click again and select Create clipping mask (Create Clipping Mask) (Ctrl + Alt + G).

Step 10. Create a new group and name it “Display Content”. Set the fill color to white. Tool Rounded rectangle (Rounded Rectangle Tool) (U) with a radius of 16 pixels, draw the shape shown below. Name this layer “Side”. In mode Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctr + T) enter the X and Y coordinates to determine the position.

Step 11. Make two copies of the “Side” layer. Call them “Top” and “Outer”.

Step 12. Select the “Side” layer and set its Fill to 0%. Apply style Stroke (Stroke): You need to select the “Side_Dot” pattern.

Step 13. Select the “Top” layer, set the layer Fill to 0%. Apply style Stroke (Stroke):

Step 14. Select the “Outer” layer, set the layer Fill to 0% and apply the style Stamping (Bevel Emboss):

Circuit:

Step 15. Set the fill color – # ff0000, select the tool Rounded Rectangle (Rounded Rectangle Tool) (U) with a radius of 6 pixels and draw the shape shown below. Name the layer “Container”. Place it under the “Outer” layer.

Step 16. Make a copy of the “Container” layer and name it “Soft Shadow”. Set the Opacity of the layer to 41% and change the color to black (double-click on the black layer icon).

Choose a tool Outline selection (Path Selection Tool) (A) and select the “Soft Shadow” layer. Go to the menu Edit – Copy (Edit – Copy), then Edit – Paste (Edit – Paste). Using the arrows on the keyboard, move the selection 3 pixels up. In the settings above click on the value Cut from the shape area (Subtract From Shape Area), then click Combine (Combine).

Step 17. Set the fill color to white, select the Rectangle Tool (U) and draw the shape shown below. Name this layer “Content” and position above the layer “Container”.

Transform the “Content” layer into a smart object and create clipping mask (Ctrl + Alt + G).

Step 18. Apply style to “Container” Shadow (Drop Shadow):

Step 19. Create a rounded rectangle as shown below. Name the layer “Inner” and place it under the layer “Outer”.

Make a copy of the “Inner” layer and name it “Light Container”.

Step 20. Set the Fill of the “Inner” layer to 0% and apply the style Stamping (Bevel Emboss):

Circuit: Half Rounded.

Step 21. Select the “Light Container” layer Arrow (Direct Selection Tool) (A) Drag the right anchor points 150 pixels to the left. Select points and press the left arrow key 15 times while holding Shift.

Step 22 Make several copies of the “Backlight” layer and name them as shown below.

Place three copies above the “Light Container” layer.

Step 23 Select the “Front Light” layer and change it with the tool Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctr + T), as shown below.

Select the “Light Container” layer and drag its vector mask onto the “Front Light” layer. Then delete the “Light Container” layer.

Set the Opacity of the “Front Light” layer – 45%.

Step 24 Select the “Content Shadow” layer and apply a style. Color overlay (Color Overlay). Set the layer Opacity to 18%.

Step 25. Set the fill color to # ff0000. Tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool) (U) Draw the shape shown below. Name this layer “Shadow Container”.

Make a copy of the “Shadow Container” layer and name it “Light Container”. In mode Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctr + T) set the value of the Y axis – 192 pixels.

Step 26. Change the “Content Light” layer as shown below.

Then change the “Content Shadow” layer like this:

Step 27. Drag the “Light Container” layer vector mask onto the “Content Light” layer and delete the first one.

Drag the mask of the “Shadow Container” layer onto the “Content Shadow” layer and delete the first layer.

Step 28. Make a copy of the “Backlight” layer and name it “Fantasy Shadow”.

Tool Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctr + T) change the shape like this:

Apply style Color overlay (Color Overlay).

Step 29. Tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool) (U) Create a shape as shown below.

Drag the “Fantasy Container” layer vector mask onto the “Fantasy Shadow” layer. Remove the first layer.

Step 30 – Packaging Design In the “Display Board” group, select the “Design” layer and apply a gradient overlay to it.

Tool Horizontal text (Horizontal Type Tool) (T) write some text. I wrote “tutorials”. Font – Lubalin. Add an icon and save the document.

In the “Display Content” group, select the “Content” layer and double-click on the icon of the smart object and insert a screenshot of the page (just an example). Resize the screenshot tool Free transform (Free Transform) (Ctrl + T) and save the document.
