Step 1. Find a photograph of the sky.

Step 2. Select tool “Arbitrary shapeWinged heart(Custom Shape Tool) and set the following tool settings:

Step 3. Create a new layer (Ctrl +L). Draw a heart shape. Go to the tool “PenWinged heart(Pen Tool, P) and click on the shape with the right button – To form a selected area (Make selection).

Step 4. Fill the selection with any color. Now double-click on the layer to bring up the window. Layer style (Layer style).
In the tab Stamping (Bevel Emboss) set the following parameters:

Click the tab Contours (Contour) and set the following parameters:

Now select Color overlay (Color overlay) and set the following parameters:
Colour #B4B2B2

The result should be approximately the same as in the screenshot.
Now you need to reduce the selection in size. This can be done in two ways.

1. Go to the selection tool, for example “Rectangular area ” (Rectangular Marquee (M))Winged heart and, clicking on the selection with the right mouse button, select there – Transform the selected area. And reduce the size by holding the key Shift.

2. Go to Selection – Modification – Compress (Select – Modify – Contract). The number of pixels will have to be selected manually.

Step 5. Without removing the selection, create a new layer. Fill the selection with any dark color. Call the Layer Style window. On the Emboss tab, set these options.

Click the tab Texture (Texture) and set such parameters.
In this example, the pattern is selected. Red Rocks (200 by 200 pixels. RGB mode), it is in the Rock set.

In the tab Gradient overlay (Gradient overlay) set such parameters.
(Overlay mode can be changed to your liking, as well as all other settings)

Opacity The layer’s fill can be adjusted to taste, or completely reduced.
Now the heart should look something like this.

Step 6. Create a new layer, place it below the layers with the heart. Take the tool “Brush” Winged heart(B), install:
Size 4 pixels., Stiffness 100%, color Gray.

Go to tool “Pen” Winged heart(Pen (P)) (in contour mode) and draw a wing shape (it is not necessary to close the contour). Once drawn, right-click on the shape and select – Outline the contour. (Stroke)

From the proposed tools, select Brush.

Then the tool “PenWinged heart(Pen) Draw more lines on the wing. Also, right-click to stroke the outline, select the Brush.

Step 7. Take the tool “Magic wand”Winged heart (Magic wand (W)), in the settings tool, put – All layers. And hold down the key Shift select all parts of the wing.

Step 8. Without removing the selection, create a new layer. Fill the selection with white. Put layer fill 0%.

Call the Layer Style window. In the tab Stamping (Bevel / Emboss) set such parameters.

In the tab Texture (Texture) set these parameters.
(Pattern – Stones (200 by 200 pixels. RGB mode))

Step 9. Now go back to the previous layer (with the stroke of the wing).
Call the Layer Style window – Stamping (Layer style – Bevel / Emboss):

Step 10. You got two layers related to the wing. Create a group and place layers in it.

Right click on the layer with the group, select – Duplicate group.
Now Ctrl +T, right click on the transform frame – Flip horizontally. Place the resulting wing on the opposite side of the heart, as shown. Apply Transformation (Enter)

Step 11. Create a new layer. Select tool “Brush»(Brush) set the size 1 pix., Colour White. Now select the “PenWinged heart (Pen), and draw a line (the thread on which the heart will hang). Right-click to stroke the outline.

From the proposed tools, select BrushWinged heart.
(Ctrl +H, remove the contour)

Step 12. Duplicate this layer (Ctrl +J), apply a free transform to the duplicate (Ctrl +T) – Flip horizontally. Place the strip on the opposite side. Apply the transformation (Enter).

Create a new layer, take the tool “EllipseWinged heart(Ellips Tool (U)), (in the contour mode, and draw a ring on which the heart rests. Right-click – Circle a subcontour. From the tools choose “BrushWinged heart(Brush)

Then, Layer Style – Emboss (Layer style – Bevel / Emboss)

Duplicate this layer Ctrl +J, tool “MoveWinged heart(Move) move the second ringlet to the opposite side.

Step 13. Create a new layer. This layer should be located above all layers. Fill it up #FFFFFA color.

Now go to Filter – Rendering – Lighting Effect (Filter – Rendering – Lighting effect) and set the following settings:
* the angle and width of the beam will depend on your image, the target is a falling beam on the heart *

Change this layerblending mode” on – Line Illuminator (Linear dodge), or Lightening (Screen).

Here’s what you get when you’re done.

* If it is not possible to achieve the effect of a falling beam on the heart, as in the screenshot, take “EraserWinged heart(Eraser), the size of the brush is large, the stiffness is 0%, the opacity is low and erase the extra light areas. Or take the tool “DimmerWinged heart(Bern) and darken the desired areas of the image. *
