Your card is a bit

A lesson in creating wallpaper for gambling people.

To get started, create a new file. File – New (File – New), 1280×1024 pix., resolution 72. Using Rectangle tool (U) (Rectangle tool) drag a rectangle over the entire document.

Next, apply the settings for the created layer, double-click on the layer in the layers palette:

Translator comment: In the standard set of PS 3 I did not find such a texture. I propose to create a new layer, apply the Noise filter – Add noise (settings to taste), then change the blending mode of the same layer to any one you like.

Using Custom shape tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool) Drag the rays as shown below. Mark internal points with the tool Convert point tool (Angle tool), holding down the Shift key, CTRL + T, turn on the option Maintain aspect ratio (Keep proportions) and compress them into one point in the center of your document.

Gradient Settings:

The next step includes an image Rounded rectangle tool (U) (Tool “Rectangle with rounded corners”) (radius 20) the first layer with a playing card, the color is white.

Make three copies of the last layer and use the tool. Free transform rotate them and position as shown in the screenshot below:

Next, select the tool Custom Shape Tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool) and draw map symbols. Using Free transform CTRL + T tilt and move new items according to their position as in the image:

Gradient Settings:

Make a copy of the last layer made and select Free transform to make it smaller and then using the tool Add anchior point tool (Tool “Pen +” Add anchor point), insert a few points in the lower part of the layer, apply for correction Convert point tool (Tool “Angle”).

Gradient Settings:

Select Custom Shape Tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool), draw the following suit, select it from the shape palette:

Gradient Settings:

Make a copy of the last layer and again applying Free transform make it smaller. We must using Delete Anchior Point Tool (Pen tool- Remove GCP) delete several points on the bottom of the layer. Convert point tool (Tool “Angle”) can help make the appropriate correction points.

Gradient Settings:

Next we need to again Custom shape tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool) to draw the next suit. Tilt using Free transform. This layer should be located below the layer with the next map located on the right side (layers panel).

Blending Options – Gradient Overlay (Blending Options — Gradient Overlay)

Gradient Settings:

Make a copy of the layer and just like with the previous layer using Free transform reduce the copy. Next use Delete Anchior Point Tool (Pen tool- Delete anchor point) to remove two points on the bottom of the layer, but you need to Convert point tool (Tool “Angle”) to make a correction figure.

Layer Options: Fill (Fill) 0%

Gradient Settings:

Time to draw the last suit, select Custom shape tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool), necessary tool Free transform slightly rotate the suit, position it in accordance with the position of the card.

Next, create miniature copies of suits, place them under the names of the cards. To do this, select Custom shape tool (U) (Arbitrary shape tool). Use Free transform to move them over the letters, if necessary, and make the appropriate rotation of the corner. The colors of the suits correspond to the colors of the letters above them.

Playing cards are ready.
