You should already have grasped the essence of creating these Christmas tree layers and giving them styles. Further we continue independently according to the pictures:

Of course, where is the Christmas tree without an asterisk?

Draw a small star.

Apply Inner Glow Style

Now you need to create a new folder in the layers palette and move into it all the layers that belong to the Christmas tree (including the star).

Duplicate the folder with the Christmas tree. Go to the document. Click Ctrl + T (free transform), right-click on the frame – select “flip horizontally”.

You will now have 2 trees, reduce the second one in size and place it just like in the picture:

Go to the copy folder and change the color of the star to something else.
For which use the color / saturation tool (Ctrl + U)

To liven up this New Year’s landscape, add some more details.

For example, snowballs, which as if inadvertently fell from a branch onto snow.
Take the tool , draw a small oval and apply the settings listed below:

Style “Shadow”:

That’s what you can get if you add a few more snowballs.

And here at your discretion, you can add the sun in the sky – it will be day, and if the stars – the night.

Take a small brush with soft edges and randomly draw asterisks.

Happy holiday!
