Jolly Roger!

Hello to all!!! Now we will draw the Pirate Flag! This lesson is for Photoshopers with Photoshop CS2 and higher.

Step 1:

Create a new document. 400×250px with white background.

Step 2:

Select the rectangle shape tool …

And in shape mode draw a black rectangle.

Step 3:

So, the creative part begins. Before that, you should watch the flags flying on the street and fix some form for yourself.

Now try using the tool “Free Transformation” to depict the same.

Click CTRL + T (Free Transform), then right-click on the shape and select the command called Warp (Deformation).

There will be a grid with knots, for which you can pull and deform the shape.

You can do something like this:

Step 4:

It is not clear what this figure is like.
She needs to add real waves.
Double-click on the layer with the shape in the layer panel (not in the windows, but in an empty space) a window will appear, with which you can add a gradient overlay style.

Settings:

Next, click on the gradient strip and set these colors: black – white – black, etc.

Now your flag will look like this:

Step 5:

We agreed that we make a pirate flag, then where is the skeleton?

So that you will not suffer for a long time when painting it from scratch, you are offered a special brush called “Skeletons”, which you can download here!

You can add styles to the skeleton figure so that it also twists on the flag.
