“Magic Flowers from the Present”
I propose another way to draw a flower, for example, like this:
Create a new document size 500×500 pixels, resolution 72 pix / inch, the background is white.
In the layers palette, click the Add New Layer button.
Turn on the Brush Tool (Brush) with the specified settings:
Set as working color #ss0066
Press Shift and draw a straight line on the added layer at the bottom of the canvas. Then make another row of strokes on top of this line with a lighter color and a brush of smaller diameter and rigidity. For example:
Turn on the selection tool Single Row Marquee Tool (selection of a single row) and click on the middle of the drawn line
Press the key combination Ctrl + T or (Edit – Transform – Scale (Edit – Transform – Scale) Resize markers will appear. Grasp the center markers and drag them up and down, then press Enter. It should look like this:
Duplicate the top layer
From the top layer, give the command Image – Adjustments – Desaturate (Image – Adjustment – Discolor) or press Shift + Ctrl + U.
Then remove the selection – Select – Deselect (Selection – Deselect or Ctrl + D) and begin to form a petal. Give the command Edit – Transform – Warp (Edit – Transformation – Warp) Only available from PhotoShopCS2!
This command will apply a grid to the layer with markers that will warp the layer with our help. Spend the first deformation as follows:
Then adjust the black markers like this:
At the end of the operation, click Enter. If the edges of the petal go beyond the boundaries of the lower layer – press Ctrl + T or (Edit – Transform – Scale (Edit – Transform – Scale) and change the width Press Enter.
Change the blending mode to Luminosity (Glow). Opacity 50%. Hold Ctrl and click on the petal layer to load the selection.
Press Shift + Ctrl + I or Select – Inverse (Selection – Invert), go to the layer below and press Delete to remove the excess. There will be a petal.
Go back to the top layer and right-click on it, select the command Merge down – merge layers (Cntr + E)
Edit – Transform – Flip Vertical (Edit – Transform – Flip Vertically), press Ctrl + T and reduce the size of the petal, confirm the operation with the Enter key.
Using the tools of the Dodge Tool (lighten) and Burn Tool (darken) perform petal adjustment.
Turn on the Eraser tool; install a ragged brush and “tear” the petal by erasing the upper part.
Duplicate the top layer (see step 5) Turn on the Move tool and move the petal to the side.
Edit – Transform – Warp (Edit – Transformation – Warp) will change the petal.
Look at the distortion grid and shift the black markers as shown in the picture. Press Enter.
Go to the layer with the UNDEFORMED petal, Press Ctrl + T and rotate the top petal by about 20 degrees. And again – Edit – Transform – Warp (Edit – Transformation – Warp)
Look and repeat the warp mesh, respectively, move the nodes along the colors.
After deformation, press Enter.
Duplicate the received petal (see step 5) and mirror it horizontally
Edit – Transform – Flip Horizontal (Edit – Transform – Flip Horizontal)
Combine the resulting petals using the move tool and free transformation (Ctrl + T). Press Enter, after each operation. For further work, I numbered them.
Duplicate petal number 1 (see step 5)
Lower the petal below, press Ctrl + T and rotate the upper petal about 90 degrees. Press Enter.
again – Edit – Transform – Warp (Edit – Transform – Warp)
After deformation, press Enter. Again, Ctrl + T, expand the resulting petal and place it on the flower. Moreover, do not pay attention to the order of the layer, the base will still be closed. Duplicate petal number 4, mirror it and place it on the other side.
Duplicate Petal No. 1 and place it on top of the others (just drag it above all layers in the Layers panel)
With the active top layer (petal No. 6) on the upper part we create a rectangular selection. Edit – Copy (Edit – Copy), Edit – Past (Edit – Paste).
And right away – Edit – Transform – Flip Vertical (Edit – Transform – Flip Vertically), move the lobe 7 below:
Isnova deform now petal number 7
For clarity, I shifted this petal to better see the strain grid:
Dimming the top of the petal number 7 (see step 9) and a little petal number 6
Warp a little petal number 6
I adjusted the petals a little, which, in my opinion, are not in place and not of those sizes:
Duplicate the petal number 6 and pull it free deformation (Ctrl + T)
Coloring Sheet – Image –Adjustment – Hue / Saturation (Cntr + U) – (Image – Correction – Hue / Saturation)
Select all layers with petals (you can click on the layers while holding the Ctrl key), then give the command – Layer – Merge down – (Layer – merge layers (Cntr + E))
Place the layer with the flower above the Green Leaf.
Add a mask to the layer. Increase the base of the flower.
Black brush on the active mask mask part of the flower
Duplicate the green leaf layer several times, distort each leaf and place it at your discretion. For example:
Change colors, blending modes, shape. According to this technology, without any particular deformation, I got such flowers here (the petals are simply arranged in a circle and propagated):
