Abstract wallpaper

Hello dear site visitors Photoshop-master.

In this tutorial I will tell you how to make such an abstract wallpaper on your desktop:

So, let’s begin.

First create New document (file> New (File> New)) by size 1280×1024 pixels and 72 dpi. Fill the layer with black.

We will continue to create the basis for our effect. To do this, click on the tab in the menu bar Filter>Rendering>Glare (Filter> Render> Lens Flare). And set the following settings:

We should get some sort of luminescence shown below:

Find the Filter Gallery (Filter>Filter Gallery (Filter> Filter Gallery), select a filter method and make the settings shown below:

Next, do the following: go Filter>Distortion>Wave (Filter> Distort> Wave) and set the settings as below:

And so, you and I got a kind of amphora, you should have something like this:

Now we betray the color of our picture. To do this, press a combination of buttons. Ctrl + U, thus you call the window Hue / saturation(Hue | Saturation). And set the following settings:

Great, you should have something like this:

Make a copy of the layer by pressing a combination of buttons. Ctrl + J and perform the same operation as with the Filter Wave (Wave), but don’t forget to click Another option (Randomize). In the end, it should turn out like this:

Apply these parameters to this layer: Mode overlay layers> Lightening (Blending mode-screen)

Make a copy of this layer and apply all the same settings. As a result, you should have about 4-5 copies.

Using the function Free Transformation (Free transform) change each copied layer, thus you need to achieve the “Whirlpool” effect:

Next we will create a “flash”. To do this, create New layer (New layer) and fill it with black. Go to the menu tab Filter>Rendering>Glare (Filter> Render> Lens Flare). And set the following parameters:

You should have something like this:

Select function again Free transformation(Free Transform) and narrow the picture:

Copy this layer. And with the help of Free transformation rotate the picture:

Set the following parameters: Layer blend mode>Replacing light (Blending Mode – Lighten)

Make a copy of the last layer and rotate it to get such a star:

Merge layers of star elements. Apply this layer settings: Layer blend mode>Blending Mode – Screen).

After that, place the star in the center of the picture.

Your wallpaper is finished. Enjoy watching.
