This lesson will tell you how to use the tool. Warp tool (Warp) you can create great abstractions. All steps are very simple, and this effect can be used in many cases.
This is what should look like (click on the image to enlarge):
Step 1. Create a new document with a size of 900 by 790 px (pixels) and fill the background with black.
Create a new layer and name it Create Form. Choose a tool Ellipse tool (Ellipse) (U) on the toolbar:
In the panel that appears above, select the tab Style and select “None” (no style), select white color:
Draw the shape as shown below:
Now, to give depth to the image, create a shadow. Apply the following settings to this layer:
Here is what happened:
Step 2. On the previous layer, click Ctrl + T and right click, select Warp (Warp).
Then drag the edge of the grid:
Now use your creativity and experiment with the form. Here are some examples:
Step 3. Along with the tool Shape tool (Forms) (U) You can also use Rectangular , Elliptical marquee (Rectangular, Oval area).
Next, create a new layer and select Elliptical Marquee (Oval area).
Draw an oval, take a soft brush and draw as shown below:
Now you can again apply the deformation to this layer:
Note that during the deformation the cursor changes its shape to a small black arrow:
Step 4. No doubt, after all your experiments with deformation, you have a lot of layers. Combine them together and make any form. For example, such:
Now add the balls to the image. Create a new layer and name it “Ball”. Draw a white circle, as shown in the image below:
Next, go Layer>LayerStyle>BlendingOptions (Layer> Layer Style> Blending Options). Select Inner Shadow (Inner Shadow):
Next, select Gradient Overlay (Overlay gradient):
Now add holes to the ball. To do this, create a new layer on top of the “Ball” layer. Then draw a circle like the one below:
Next, go Layer>LayerStyle>BlendingOptions (Layer> Layer Style> Blending Options). Select Inner Glow (Inner Glow):
Then select Stroke (Stroke):
This is what the effect should be:
Now add another hole on the other side. To do this, duplicate this layer and change the size of the hole.
Next, create a new layer on top of the “Ball” layer and use a soft brush to paint a highlight as shown in the image below. Change the blending mode of this layer to Overlay.
We are done with the ball. To give an even better effect, merge all the layers related to the ball together and duplicate the resulting layer. Place the balls as shown below:
You can resize the balls for beauty.
Step 5. We are almost done. Now add some more effects. Replace layer fill Background from black to radial black and white gradient for more beauty:
Also add a few accents with a soft brush, as in the image below:
Now smooth the image. Duplicate layer Background. Merge all layer except Background (Background) duplicate the resulting layer. Apply to duplicated layer Filter> Noise> Median (Filter> Noise> Median), Set the following settings:
Decrease Opacity (Opacity) layer up to 60%. As you can see, the image became softer and acquired a dreamy effect.
You can also make clouds for an extra effect:
Finally, create a new layer and change the blending mode of this layer to Overlay, but Opacity (Opacity) reduce to 80%. Take a soft brush and paint her changing colors as you like. Here is the final result:
