Make a techno background in Photoshop

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create an interesting techno-style background that you can use, for example, as a cover for a disc or as a screensaver for your desktop.

Step 1: Clouds
Create a new document of any size and visualize the clouds. Filter – Render – Clouds (Filter – Rendering – Clouds).

Step 2: Design
Add effects using the filter Filter – Pixelate – Mosaic (Filter – Layout – Mosaic), set the cell size to 17 and click OK.

Twice the image sharpness Filter – Sharpen – Sharpen (Filter – Sharpness – Sharpness).

Step 3: Halftones
Duplicate layer (CTRL + J). Apply filter Filter – Sketch – Halftone Pattern (Filter – Sketch – Halftone pattern) with the following parameters to the duplicate.

Set the blending mode to Overlay (Overlap) and reduce Opacity (Opacity) up to 10%. Merge the two layers together (CTRL + E).

Step 4: Extrusion
Make a duplicate layer and apply extrusion. Move on Filter – Stylize – Extrude (Filter – Stylization – Extrusion). We use default parameters (type (type): blocks (blocks), size (size): 30 pixels, depth (depth): random (random)).

Set the blending mode to Overlay (Overlap) and reduce Opacity (Opacity) up to 70%.

Step 5: Colors
Create a new layer. Set the foreground and background color to # 8fde05 and # 05deb3, respectively. We apply a linear gradient on the diagonal.

Set the blending mode to Overlay.

Step 6: Edges
Create a new layer. Take the black soft brush (B) 200 pixels in size and paint over its edges.

Apply filter Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur (Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur). Set the Amount parameter to 30.

Step 7: Text
Add text to our wallpaper.

That’s it, we are done!

That’s what I got, the lesson translator.
