Hello! Having done this lesson, you will learn how to do this kind of work:
You can make use of this lesson to make wallpaper (like me) or an avatar.
Let’s get started!
I took a photo of my favorite actor.
Create a new document with the size that you need as a result. We insert a photo there.
Layer – Duplicate Layer.
Editing – Transform – Flip Horizontally.
Make one of the layers translucent (Opacity 60%). Slide the layers towards each other so that the axis where they will merge will be in the middle.
Now duplicate both layers. You will have four layers. Two left and two right.
One left and one right need to blur. Filter – Blur – Motion Blur. The angle is 0 degrees, my offset is 20 pixels.
For all four layers add a vector mask . Select Gradient “Foreground to Transparent”, that is, from the primary color to a colorless background. Primary color is black. Now, holding Shift to make it smooth, draw gradients in Vector masks.
There will have to tinker to achieve a good result.
In the blurred layers, you need to hide everything except areas where one head will turn into another. And in the initial layers of black gradient must fill in the blurred parts of the face. You can also work with a soft brush, if this is more convenient for you.
In the layers palette, it looks like this
It should turn out like this (sometimes the layers need to be moved towards each other)
For better effect, I added blurry layers. Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur, radius 2.0.
Now restore the background. I was lucky, I have it almost homogeneous. I just copied the blue background, blurred it according to Gauss. You can also cut doubled heads and paste on a new background. Do it to your taste.
We just need a spectacular background!
I took this picture
And transformed it into this form
Make the same picture you learn in the lesson Kaleidoscope.
Insert a kaleidoscope on our heads, stretch the width of the canvas. Blend mode change to Soft light.
Using the lasso, select the head area by setting Feathering somewhere around 20 pixels. In the Kaleidoscope Layer Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur (I have a radius of 7).
Layer – Duplicate Layer. For the second layer Kaleidoscope overlay mode Overlap. The selection should have remained, but if not, the Selection – Select again. Clear the area by clicking Delete. If there are patterns on the faces, remove them. Eraser or in vector mask mode.
Combine the four layers with the heads. Add Vector Mask and in her soft Brush make a smooth transition to the neck.
Create a new layer under the kaleidoscope layers. Make the main color dark blue and fill the layer. Opacity 50%. Add Vector Mask and with a soft brush, return the face and a little area around it.
And the final touch. Add an inscription. Standard thick Impact font. Large write TWICE (Twice). For text, apply the following layer styles.
It should look like this
Make a reflection. Duplicate the text layer, right-click on the layer that appears and select Clear layer style, and then Rasterize the text.
Editing – Transform – Flip Vertically.
Move the label down.
Apply layer style color overlay, Colour 2a4e4b.
Add Vector Mask and Gradient remove the bottom part.
Editing – Transformation – Distortion.
Pull the left and right lower corners to an equal distance.
Well that’s all. Layer – Flatten. I hope you all succeeded! Thanks for attention.
