Bright button for the site

Hello, in this tutorial we will create a clean and bright button for your website / blog.

Step 1. Create a new document (Ctrl + N) 640 px wide and 480 px high, fill the resulting Background layer with black color.

The reason that we have not created a document the size of the button itself is that, in consequence, our button will be placed on the Web page. Therefore, I think, working on a large canvas, we will have a better overview of the final result.

Now add a new layer, above the “Background” layer and name it “Background lighting”, select a large, soft, round brush (B) of gray color and make one click at the position shown below:

Step 2. Now select the “Rounded Rectangle (U) and set the settings as shown:

Now draw a rectangle in the center of the canvas, as shown below: (don’t worry about the layout, the main thing is that you draw a rectangle)

Apply the following “Layer Styles” to this layer, you can do this by clicking on the “Add layer style on the layers panel:

Shadow

Inner shadow

Gradient overlay

You should get the following result:

Step 3. Now load the selection of the resulting rectangle, to do this, click on the thumbnail of the layer with the rectangle while holding the key Ctrl.

Create a new layer above the rectangle layer, select soft round. brush (B) white and make a single click at the location shown below:

You should have the following:

Apply the following layer styles to this layer:
Shadow

Stamping

Gradient overlay

You should have the following effect:

At your request, you can duplicate this layer to get a brighter and more vibrant color.

Step 4. Now duplicate this layer again and place it above all other layers. Now apply Editing –> Transform> Flip vertically.

Move this layer using the Move tool (V) slightly downward so that the bottom of the rectangle will have the same bright edge line as on top.

Step 5. Now we will print the text on our button. The choice of the font is very important here, because we want to make our button as “attractive” as possible.

On the text layer, apply the following layer styles:
Shadow

Stamping

Gradient overlay

You should get the following result:

To add more “power” to your text, simply duplicate the text layer and you will have a very elegant, clean and bright button:
