In this Photoshop tutorial, you will learn how to create digital bonsai.
For this lesson you will need a brush with a picture of a tree. You can find her here.
Load the brush in Photoshop.
Then set white as the base color.
Create a new layer (click CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + N )
Select the Brush tool and take one of the bonsai brushes.
Slap once on the sheet.
It should look like this:
Go to menu Filter> Sharpen> Smart Sharpen
Set the following settings
It turned out like this:
Refer to the menu Image> Adjustments> Hue / Saturation
Set the following settings:
Copy somewhere a solid piece of text, select the Text tool (use a small font) and paste it into a Photoshop document.
Now you need to rasterize the text layer (menu Layer> Rasterize> Type )
Select the Eraser tool (small, round) and remove those parts of the text that lie outside the picture with the tree.
Change the transparency (opacity) before 40%
Then write something on different branches, let it be links (the font should be bold, and 100 % opaque)
Now select the Eraser again and delete the text behind the links.
Here is the result!
