Draw a sticker in Photoshop

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a simple web sign in Photoshop.

Step 1

Open Photoshop and click Ctrl + N, to create a new document. Enter the parameters shown in the figure below and click OK. Turn on the grid View> Show> Grid (View> Show> Grid) and snapping to the grid View> Snap To Grid (View> Snap).

First you need a grid every 5px. Go to Edit>Preferences> Guides, Grid Slices (Editing> Settings> Guides, Grid, and Fragments) and focus on the grid section. In this window, enter “5” in “line through every”. Also set the color of the grid # a7a7a7.

After you set all the parameters, click OK. Do not worry, it’s just a grid. This will make it easier for you to complete this lesson.

You should also open the Information Panel. Window> Info (Window> Info) for prior
view the size and position of your figure.

Step 2

Choose a tool Polygon tool (Polygon) and focus on the top bar. Enter 25 in the “sides” field, then click on the small black arrow to open the polygon options menu.

Check that the checkboxes are on all three points, then enter 100px in the “radius” field and 20% in the “depth of rays” field. Set foreground color to # c7a069 and create a shape as shown in the following image.

Step 3

Next, you need to create a simple texture. Click first Ctrl + N, to create a new document. Set the parameters in the window 4 in width and height, click OK.

Turn on the grid and bind to it. For this texture, we need a grid every 1px. Go to Edit>Preferences> Guides, Grid Slices (Editing> Settings> Guides, Grid, and Fragments) and focus on the grid section. In this window, enter “1” in “line through every”.

Then go to the layers panel and delete the “Background” layer. Set the foreground color to black and select the tool Rectangle tool (Rectangle). Create two 2 by 2px vector outlines, as shown in the image below.

Now, just go to the menu Edit> Define Pattern (Edit> Define Texture). Choose a name for your texture and click OK, the texture is ready. Close this document and return to the main one.

Step 4

Return to the “Line every 5px” section. Go to Edit>Preferences> Guides, Grid Slices (Editing> Settings> Guides, Grid, and Fragments) and focus on the grid section. In this window, enter “5” in “line through every”.

Focus on the layers panel and double-click on the vector shape created in the second step to open the Layer Styles window.

Enter the parameters shown in the following image for layer styles Shade, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Emboss / Bevel, Pattern Overlay, Stroke. Click OK. In section Pattern Overlay (Texture Overlay) use the texture created in the previous step.

Step 5

Set foreground color to # 855f37, select instrument Ellipse tool (Ellipse), Create a 120px circle and place it as shown in the first image. Make sure that this new vector shape remains selected, continue with the tool. Ellipse Tool (Ellipse), check button activity Subtract On the top panel and draw a circle, size 70px, as shown in the second image.

Step 6

Open the Layer Styles window for the vector shape created in the previous step and enter the parameters shown in the images for Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow.


Step 7

Set foreground color to # c7a069, select Ellipse tool (Ellipse), create a 70px circle and place it as shown in the first image. Make sure that this new vector shape remains selected and switch to the tool. Rectangle tool (Rectangle).

Check button activity Add (merge shapes) in the top bar and create a rectangle, measuring 270 by 40px, as shown in the second image.

Step 8

Make sure that the vector shape created in the previous step is still active. Select Add Anchor Point Tool and add two new anchor points, as shown in the first image.

Switch to Convert point tool (Angle) and click on both of the support
points. Next, you need to move these new pivot points.
Choose a tool Direct selection tool (Arrow), select the left anchor point and move it 25px to the right, then select the right anchor point and move it 25px to the left. As a result, your vector shape should look like in the third image.

Open the Layer Styles window for this shape and enter the parameters shown in the following images for Shade, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Emboss / Bevel, Pattern Overlay, Stroke.

Step 9

Set foreground color to # 855f37, select instrument Rectangle tool (Rectangle), create a vector shape 240 by 30px and place it as shown in the first image. Select Add Anchor Point Tool and add two new anchor points, as shown in the first image.

Switch to Convert point tool (Angle) and click on both anchor points.

Choose a tool Direct selection tool (Arrow), select the left anchor point and move it 15px to the right, then select the right anchor point and move it 15px to the left. As a result, your vector shape should look like in the third image.

Step 10

Make sure that the vector shape created in the previous step remains selected. Select Ellipse Too l (Ellipse), check button activity Subtract (Subtract front figure) on the top panel and draw a circle, measuring 70px by 70px, as shown on the first
Open the Layer Styles window for this shape and enter the parameters shown in the following images for Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow.

Step 11

Set foreground color to # c7a069, select instrument Type tool (Text) and add “PREMIUM” as shown in the first image.

Use the MoolBoran font, size 15pt. Select this text fragment and go to Edit> Transform> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp). Select “arc” in the warp from the drop-down menu, type 65 in the “bend” box and press Enter.

Step 12

Open the Layer Styles window for the text created in the previous step and enter the parameters shown in the next image.

Move to the layers panel, right-click on this part of the text and click “Copy Layer Style”.

Step 13

Choose a tool Type tool (Text) and add “QUALITY” as shown in the following image. Again, use a 15pt MoolBoran font.
Select this text fragment and go to Edit> Transform> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp)

Select arc in the warp from the drop-down menu, enter -50 in the bend box and click
Enter.

Navigate to the layers panel, right-click on this part of the text and click “Insert Layer Style.”

Step 14

Choose a tool Type tool (Text) and add “MONEY BACK” twice, as shown in the following image.

Use the MoolBoran font at a fixed size of 13pt. In addition, set leading to 10pt and tracking to 350.

Right-click on these text snippets and click Insert Layer Style.

Step 15

Choose a tool Type tool (Text), add the inscription “100” and the percent symbol, use the parameters shown in the first image.

Select both parts of the text and convert them to a smart object.

Open the Layer Styles window for this smart object and enter the parameters shown in the following images for Shadow, Inner shadow, Inner glow, Overlay color.
