We draw a funny bird in Photoshop

Today we will draw funny Twitter icons. This is a fairly simple lesson. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a cute and adorable Twitter bird. Throughout the lesson we will use tools such as the Ellipse Tool (Oval Figure), the Pen Tool (Pen) and the Gradient Tool (Gradient). This is what we should have at the end of the lesson.

If you are ready, then we begin.

Step 1. Create a new document with dimensions 530? 530px. Set the foreground color to # a4fef4 and the background color to # e2f6ed. Choose a tool Gradient tool ( Gradient) and apply a gradient to our layer (top to bottom).

Step 2. Create a new layer and name it Circle. Set the foreground color to # 33c1f2 and the background color to # 0171cc. Select Elliptical Marquee Tool (Oval selection) and create a circle. Now select the tool Gradient tool. Then apply a gradient inside the selected circle, as in the image below.

Step 3. Create a new layer and name it on Eye Highlight. Set the color to # 28c3f7. CTRL + click on the circle layer to make a selection. Now select Gradient tool and set the mode Foreground to Transparent (Foreground to transparent) and radial gradient. Now apply it to our eyes, as in the image below.

Step 4. Now for the eyes, create a new layer and select Ellipse tool (Oval figure). Set the color to # 00000 and create a small circle on the left side. After that, create another layer and set the color to #FFFFFF. Again create a small circle and place it inside the black circle. Select layers with circles on the layers palette and press Ctrl + G, this will create a group, rename it to Left Eye. Now right click on the left eye group and select create duplicate group. Move the duplicate group to the right side, and name it Right Eye. It will look something like this.

Step 5. For the cheeks, create a new layer and name it Blush Left. Set the color to #feadac. Select Ellipse tool (Oval shape) and create an oval shape. After you have done it, move it to the left position. Duplicate layer (Ctrl + J) and move the duplicate layer to the right side. Call it Right Layer. See example below.

Step 6. Now for the beak, create a new layer and name it Bill. Set the color to # fdab5f. Select Ellipse tool (Oval shape) and create an oval shape. Now select Direct selection tool (contour editing) (A) and adjust the control points.

Step 7. Add a little shadow on the beak, Duplicate the Bill layer (Ctrl + J) and name it repeating Bill Shadow. Change the color for the shadow to # 236a98. Select Direct selection tool (contour editing) and slide down a little.

Step 8. Create a new layer and name it Body Light. Select the Oval Shape tool and create an oval shape. Select Direct selection tool (Contour Editing) and adjust the control points. See picture below.

Step 9. Right-click on the Body Light layer and select Rasterize Layer. Then select Eraser tool (Eraser) and remove the bottom part by setting to 20% opacity and a round brush with a diameter of 195px.

Step 10. Now about the wings, create a new layer and name it Wing Left. Select Ellipse tool (Oval shape) and create an oval shape again. Now adjust the anchor points oval, as in the figure below.

Step 11. Now copy the left wing layer (Ctrl + J). Come To Edit> Transform> Flip Horizontal (Editing – Transformation – Flip Horizontally). Move the duplicate layer to the right and name it Right Wing. We have something like this.

Step 12. Create a new layer and name it Nose Left. Set the colors to # cb7b34. Select Ellipse tool (Oval shape) and create an oval shape, then adjust the attachment points. Duplicate the layer. Let’s go Edit> Transform> Flip Horizontal (Editing – Transformation – Flip Horizontally). Move the duplicate layer to the right side and name it Nose Right.

Step 13. Legs. Create a new layer under the Circle layer and name it Left Foot. Set the color to # fbbc55. Select Ellipse tool and create an oval shape.

Step 14. Add some shadow to the legs, select Burn tool (Dimmer) 10% Exposure, Highlights. See sample image below.

Step 15. Now copy the left foot. Go To Edit> Transform> Flip Horizontal. (Edit – Transform – Flip Horizontally) Move the layer to the right side with MoveTool (Move) and name it Foot Right.

Step 16. Add shadows on the legs. Create a new layer under the Left Foot layer. Set the color to # 000000. Select Brush tool (Brush) and apply it under your feet. After that, go to Filter> Blue> Gaussian Blur.(Filter-Blur-Blur on Gaus) and set the blur radius to 15 pixels.

Step 17. Finally, let’s add some pieces of hair on the head. Create a new layer and set the color to # 1a8fd4. Name the layer Hair. Choose a tool Pen tool (Pen) and start creating anchor points.

We’ve finished drawing a charming Twitter bird.
