We draw a web tape in Photoshop

In this lesson you will learn how to create simple web feeds in Adobe Photoshop.

The final result:

Create a new document (Ctrl + N) with the same parameters as in the screenshot below.
Turn on the grid View> Show> Grid (View> Show> Grid) and link the image to the grid Browse> Snap To> Grid Lines (View> Snap To> Grid). We will need a grid every 5px, so go to Editing> Settings> Guides, Grid, and Fragments (Edit> Preferences> Guides, Grid Slices) and focus on the section Grid (Grid). In the Line every field (Gridline Every), enter 5, and in the Internal division by field (Subdivision), enter 1. Set the grid color to # a7a7a7. After setting all parameters, click OK.

Also open the panel Window> Info (Window> Info). This will allow you to see the sizes and positions of the figures.

Step 2

Set the color to # 5abbff, grab the tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool) in the shape mode (shape) and create a rectangle 195x50px.

Step 3

Step 3.1

Turn off the grid View> Show> Grid (View> Show> Grid). Take the tool Rectangle (Rectangle Tool), focus on the top control panel and click on the small arrow icon to open the Rectangle Settings. Select Fixed size (Fixed Size), activate Pixel snapping (Snap to Pixels) and in the width field enter 195px, and in the height field enter 1px. Set the color to # 656565 and just click inside your document to create a shape. Place it as shown in the first screenshot below. Using the same tool, add another line and place it two pixels below the first one.

Step 3.2

Focus on the layers panel and select the layer with the shape we created in the last step. Choose a tool Arrow (Direct Selection Tool) and mark four key points in the shape, then hold down the Alt key and drag a copy down to the rectangle, as shown in the second figure. Change the blending mode to Overlap (Overlay) and open the Layer Style window. Activate Shadow (Drop Shadow) and enter the settings shown in the screenshot below.
