Change the view from the window in Photoshop

In this lesson, we will learn to replace parts of the image, paint on the necessary shadows, put light using conventional basic Photoshop brushes, also apply a texture that will give our work a special look, create photo manipulation with elements of surrealism.

Necessarymaterial

Step one: CreatenewfileatPhotoshop
Create a new image File > New (File – New), and set the following parameters:
Presets (set): International Paper (international paper format)
Size (size): A4
Width: 2480 pixels
Height (height): 3508 pixels
Resolution: 300 pixels / inch
Color Mode (color mode): RGB Color; 8 bit
Background Contents (background content): White (white)

Step 2: Create the Background
Now let’s start creating the background. To begin with, let’s open the image that is the first in the list of material sources “By the Window II” by Eirian stock. Open it, activate the tool. Rectangular area RectangularMarqueeTool, this can be done with the M key and make a selection around the image, but leave a small black border. but disregard the little black border. Look at the image below:

Tool Move (V key). Now paste the image into the canvas. You should have the following:

Rename the layer to Background. To do this, double-click on the word “layer 1” (this is our layer – “By the window II”) for the text frame to appear, and then enter the text.
Example:

Tool Transform – Transformtool (Ctrl/Cmd + T) and change the image as below:

It turned out the following:

Now proceed to the replacement of the landscape outside the window. Start by activating the tool. PolygonalLassoTool– Polygonal Lasso (L).

After activation, select the window. To do this, follow the directions below:

Circled, now press Delete to remove the view behind the window.

Before we start changing the view outside the window, we need to remove something else. Take a close look at the image below:

How do we remove this? We can not use Eraser– Eraser tool (E), this is not a plausible look. Therefore we will draw on it!
First, make sure that the background is active and create a new layer (Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + N), a new layer will automatically appear over the background – when the table for creating a new layer appears, put “Gray” in the name bar.

After that, activate the tool Brush Brushtool (B) Make sure the default Photoshop brushes brush set is worth it:

To check that you are using one, just click on the canvas while the layer is selected and Brush(B) is activated, and then click on the highlighted button, as below:

Then click on “Reset Brushes” from the contents menu.

Enter the following parameters for Brushes Brushtool (B):

We will draw with a zoom of 400%.

The result will be:

Step 3: create a view outside the window
In this step we will add a snowy landscape. Open the image “Snowy weather stock 11” by SimplyBackgrounds. We don’t need to make these kind of selections now, we just need to paste it into our canvas using the Tool Move Movetool (V). Place this layer below the rest. Here is how it should be:

After moving call it “Snowy landscape”. “Snowy landscape” should appear as in the image below:

Landscape certainly not finalized! We need to display it horizontally – activate Transform Transformtool (Ctrl/Cmd + T), a layer with a landscape is selected, and then right-click on the canvas to display the menu of this tool. Press on “FlipHorizontal“- Display horizontally.

It will turn out like this:

Activate again Transform (Ctrl / Cmd + T) and resize by following the instructions below:
