We return to color corrections, this is the third collection. Some of my favorite effects and I hope you will also like them.
The effect of soft contrast on the photo:

Open the image and duplicate (Duplicate) (Ctrl + J) it. Go to Picture (Image) – External channel (Apply Image):
This step is needed to remove the green tone and reduce the blue tone of the image.
Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Selective color correction (Selective color):
Neutral (Neutrals): 11, 3, 9, 0
This action will increase the brightness of the blue tone.
Merge all visible layers (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E). Go to panel Channels (Channel), click on the name Green (Green) channel to make it active, press Ctrl + A, to select the contents of the green channel. Ctrl + C to copy the selection. Click on Blue (Blue) channel to make it active and press Ctrl + V to paste the contents Green (Green) channel (prim.: adapted by translator). Here is what we have:
This step changed the color of the umbrella so that it blends better with the background.
Merge all visible layers again. Apply Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) with a value of 4 px, then set this layer to Soft light (Soft Light) 100%. Press Ctrl + U to reduce the red tint on the model’s face:
Merge visible layers again. Apply Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) with a value of 4 px and set the layer to Hard light (Hard Light) 20%:
(You can choose the mode Soft light (Soft Light), it depends on your taste and your image).
New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Selective color correction (Selective color)
Red (Reds): 86, -23, 12, 0
Whites (Whites): 0, -21, 0, 0
This step reduces the red tint on the model to better fit the background.
In this step, we will add a rain effect to the photo. This is a very simple effect and you may already know it.
Create New layer (New Layer) and fill it Black (Black) (Select Editing (Edit) – Fill (Fill)). Apply Filter (Filter) Add noise (Add Noise):
Press Ctrl + L to increase the contrast and reduce the intensity of the “rain effect”:
Apply Motion blur (Motion blur):
Set this layer to mode Screen (Screen) 100%:
Press Ctrl + L to increase the brightness:
Apply Gaussian blur (Gaussian Blur) with a value of 0.5 px. To soften this effect and make it more natural.
Add a Layer mask (Layer Mask), use a soft black brush with 50% Opacity (Opacity), 50% By pushing (Flow) to soften the effect of rain on some parts of the model:

Open the original photo with the model. Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Selective color correction (Selective color):
Red (Reds): 19, -13, 14, 0
Yellow (Yellows): 0, -9, -32, 0
Green (Greens): 100, -82, -100, 0
Neutral (Neutrals): 4, 0, -4, 0
This step increases the shades of green, and also reduces the shades of red on the skin and hair of the model.
Again New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Selective color correction (Selective color):
Red (Reds): -38, -23, 11, 4
Yellow (Yellows): -8, -36, -51, 0
Green (Greens): 100, -100, -63, 0
Blue (Cyans): 0, 21, 38, 0
This will increase the brightness of the yellow tone on the skin and hair, as well as the blue tint on the background.
Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Curves (Curves) select Set the gray point (Set Gray Point):
Click this tool on the model’s skin to take a color swatch:
We get the settings for Red (Red), Green (Green) Blue (Blue) channels and result:
Adjust the RGB to increase the brightness:
I make a small collage. Select one of the butterflies, position it and change the size:
Then go to Picture (Image) – Corrections (Adjustment) – Selective color correction (Selective color) to change the color of the butterfly:
Red (Reds): 100, -36, -67, 0
Yellow (Yellows): 100, -9, -28, -26
Neutral (Neutrals): 13, 13, 0, 0
Black (Blacks): 20, -14, 12, 0
Create New layer (New Layer), use a hard 2 px brush and a soft brush of 4, 6 and 9 px sizes to draw dots, apply External glow (Outer Glow) with default settings:
New layer (New Layer) with the following settings:
Use tools Clarifier (Dodge) (O) and Dimmer (Burn) to revive the eyes.

Model
Open the image. Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Curves (Curves).
This will increase the dark shades of yellow in the image.
Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Selective color correction (Selective color):
Red (Reds): -30, 34, 90, 0
Yellow (Yellows): 4, -26, 16, 20
Green (Greens): 100, -100, 100, 0
Neutral (Neutrals): 47, 0, 39, 0
This will add a green tint to the background.
Create New adjustment layer (New Adjustment layer) Channel Mixing (Channel mixer):
Red (Red): 105, 0, 0
This will increase the slightly red tint on the model’s face.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E to merge all layers. Select Filter (Filter) – Rendering (Render) – Light effects (Lighting effects):
Duplicate (Duplicate) (Ctrl + J) this layer and apply again Light effects (Lighting effects):
Add a Layer mask (Layer Mask) to erase the hand:
Merge all visible layers. Apply Rendering (Render) – Glare (Lens Flare):
Add a Layer mask (Layer Mask) to erase the sun effect from the model and background:
Add bokeh texture to main document. Set this layer to mode Screen (Screen) 50%, then duplicate (Duplicate) (Ctrl + J) it and change the mode to Soft light (Soft Light) 50%. Add a Layer mask (Layer Mask) to erase the effect from the model, background.
