Open the photo, which we want to add some rain.
Then create a new layer and fill it with white.
Let’s go Filter> Noise> Add noise (Filter – Noise – Add noise) with settings as shown:
Here is what we got:
Next, we go to Filter> Blur> Motion Blur (Filter – Blur – Blur in motion), here you can select the angle of incidence for your rain.
Now we change the value of the parameter blending mode (blend mode), which is in the upper left corner of the Layers palette, from normal to screen (clarification)
Next, click Сtrl + M, to open the window Curves (Curves).
Play with the values here. Input (Login) and Output (Exit) so that the brightness of the colors of our new image is slightly different from the original, and of course so that the rain drops are visible.
