Step 1

Create a new document (Ctrl + N), apply the following values in the appropriate fields:

Width(Width): 2500
Height(Height): 2200

Step 2

Open the stock image Sky in Photoshop. Move this image to our working paper, name the layer with the sky “Primary Background”. Apply scaling to the sky. The result should be as in the screenshot below.

Step 3

Next, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Color Balance (Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance). In the window that appears, tick the option Use previous layer to create clipping mask. (Use previous layer to create a clipping mask).

When the adjustment layer window appears Color Balance (Color Balance), apply the following value:

Average tones(Midtones): +24, 0, -2
Sveta (Highlights): +13, 0, +6
Shadows (Shadows): 0, 0, 0

* Adjustment layers allow you to re-adjust without losing image quality and changing the main image data.

Next, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Photo Filter (Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Photo Filter). Convert this adjustment layer to a clipping mask on the sky layer and apply the following values.

Filter (Filter): Cyan
Density (Density): 25
Save glow(Preserve Luminosity)

To add cool shades, we will apply another filter. Let’s go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Photo Filter (Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Photo Filter).

Filter (Filter): Cooling Filter (LBB)
Density (Density): 13%
Save glow (Preserve Luminosity)

Result:

Step 4

Open the Space Set, select the image with the cosmic nebula. Using tool Move (Move Tool (V), move this image to our working document. Next, rename the layer with this image to “Background 2”. Apply scaling to the image with a space nebula, as shown in the screenshot below.

Change the blending mode for the nebula layer to Soft light (Soft Light). To combine this image with the image of the sky, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Hue / Saturation (Layer> New Adjustment layer> Hue and Saturation) and apply the following values:

Color tone (Hue): -90
Saturation (Saturation): -86
Brightness(Lightness): +15

Result:

Step 5

Open the Model image. Let’s make a correction using a correction layer. Brightness / Contrast (Brightness / Contrast). Let’s go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Brightness / Contrast (Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Brightness / Contrast).

Contrast(Brightness): 5
Brightness(Contrast): -50

Using tool Pen (pen tool), highlight the model image.

Using tool Move (Move Tool (V), move the image with the model to our working paper. Apply scaling to the model as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 6

After the light correction, then go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Hue / Saturation (Layer> New Adjustment layer> Hue and Saturation) and apply the following values:

Color tone (Hue): +3
Saturation (Saturation): -29
Brightness(Lightness): -1

As you have noticed, the model’s shawl has become faded and in order to restore the bright shades, go Layer – New Adjustment Layer – Selective Color Correction (Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Selective Color). Convert this adjustment layer to a clipping mask and apply the following values.

Colors (Colors):
Blue(Cyan): +10
Purple(Magenta): -2
Yellow(Yellow): -51
The black(Black): -2

Result:

Step 7

After combining the model with the background, we move on to create a glow effect. Create a new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N). Name this layer ‘Glow’. Place this layer below the model layer. Choose a soft white brush with an opacity of 20% and by pushing (flow) 100%. Gently paint over the model’s body until you get the result, as in the screenshot below.

Step 8

Create another new layer. Place this layer below the glow layer. Name this layer ‘Glow 2 ‘. Next, select the tool Brush (brush (B), set a soft white brush with an opacity of 5-10% and pressing 100%. Paint over the model’s body with a brush to create a more expressive glow effect. Result:

Group all the layers we created by selecting all layers and then pressing Ctrl + G. Once you have created a group, name this group “Model’ ”.

Step 9

Next, we will add curls of hair to the model’s hair. If you have a tablet, it will be very easy to draw curls of hair, but for those who do not have a tablet, they can use the technique of creating curls of hair, which will be very useful. Open the file with the painted hair, copy the hair lock # 8, and then paste it on our working paper.

Press Ctrl + T to activate the tool. Transformation (transform tool) to expand the curl of hair and choose the size of the curl.
