This Photoshop tutorial will tell you how to quickly create a stylish photo frame, with the photo itself being used to create the frame.
I chose a photo for a lesson that was taken a few days ago in Copenhagen (Denmark)
Duplicate the layer with the photo, then work with a copy.
Take and select the center of the photo so that the frame remains.
Now click Ctrl + J (to copy selected area to new layer)
Switch to the copy layer that you made a little earlier.
We need to turn a color photo into black and white.
If you do not know how to turn a photo into black and white, then look at this lesson.
It should turn out like this:
As you must have noticed, the edges of the photo became black and white.
We need to somehow highlight the color part of the photo.
To do this, go to the top layer (the cut part of the photo), then at the bottom of the layers palette click on the button , to add some styles.
The first style will be “Inner shadow” with settings:
Second “Outer Glow”:
