In this lesson we will learn how to create a glass puzzle effect.
It is done very simply, in just a couple of actions.
Create a new document (Ctrl + N) size 400 * 400 px
Select the fill tool and fill the square with black.
Select Custom shape tool
Next, go to the top panel and select the shape of the puzzle.
If you have not installed such figures, click on the round button with the arrow (in the figure it is marked with the letter BUT) and load the shapes Objects
You should pop up this window:
If you want to replace existing forms, then click OK, and if you add to them, Append.
So, we chose the form, now we need to decide on the color.
In the toolbar, click here to select gray.
I took #8C8C8C
Now in shape mode draw the shape of the puzzle.
As you can see, on the palette Layers we have 2 layers:
We need to merge them together. To do this, stand on the layer with the figure and click Ctrl + E (merger with the bottom)
We proceed to the creation of a mirror effect.
Apply filter Motion blur (Filter – Blur)
Set the following parameters:
And press the button OK. While the glass does not look like, because we need to perform a couple more actions.
Go to panel Layers and copy the layer.
To do this, right-click on the layer and execute the command Duplicate layer.
Now apply a filter to the copy layer. Glowing edges (Filter – Stylize) with the following settings:
Click OK and here is a glass puzzle piece in front of you.
