Landscape on clothes

In this lesson you will learn how to create an interesting landscape effect on clothes. This will require a photo of a girl and a beautiful landscape.

Step 1. Open both photos. Drag the mouse photo of the girl in the photo landscape. You can also do this using key combinations: Ctrl+A (to select the whole image), Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+Tab (go to another photo) Ctrl+V (insert).

Using tool Move (Move), which corresponds to the V key, place the girl in the middle of the landscape.

Step 2. Make two copies of the background layer (this is a landscape image layer) by clicking twice Ctrl+J. Drag one duplicate on the layers palette above the girl layer. You can also move the layer up and down using the keys Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[. Then, select the girl in a convenient way for you and separate it from the background to a new layer, placing it on the layers palette on top of the rest.

Step 3. Move the copy of the background layer slightly down with the tool Move (Move), but so that it completely overlaps the dress.

Step 4. Go to the layer with the girl and select the dress in any way.

Turn off the visibility of the upper layer by clicking on the eyelet icon. Then move to the layer with the landscape below, and use the keys Ctrl+X, to cut the selection to the clipboard.

Step 5. Again make the layer with the girl visible and active. Then click Ctrl+V. Photoshop will create a new layer and paste a dress we’ve cut it into earlier.

Make an invisible layer with the landscape where we cut the dress.

Step 6. Change the blending mode (BlendingModea) top layer on Hard light (Hard Light).

Next, use the tool Eraser (Eraser) by pressing E. Choose a soft-edged brush in the settings and gently erase the background, but leave a little around the girl.

Create an adjustment layer Color balance (Color Balance). To do this, click on the button at the bottom of the layers panel in the form of a black and white circle. and select the appropriate adjustment layer. Adjust the background color around the girl so that it matches the color scheme of your chosen landscape. In this case, add some blue.

Step 7. Change the blending mode (BlendingMode) on Hard light (Hard Light). Now the background that we left around the girl, merged with the landscape.

Then create a new layer on top of the rest by clicking Shift+Ctrl+N. On this layer, you can make a final correction using the drawing tools (if necessary).

Step 8. Create an adjustment layer Hue / Saturation (Hue / Saturation) (see Step 6) and move the slider Saturation (Saturation) to the far left.

Use a soft eraser to slightly erase the discolored background for a smooth transition from black and white to color.

Step 9. Above the main background layer create an adjustment layer. Brightness / Contrast (Brightness / Contrast). Adjust the contrast of the background.

Here is the result.

I wish you creative success!
