Hello dear users of the site https://photobecket.com
In this tutorial we will create such an interesting collage.
Materials for the lesson:
Step 1. We will start with a white sheet (here we used dimensions of 40 cm by 50 cm and a resolution of 240 pixels per inch) and images with the sky for the background.
Step 2. Apply Image> Correction> Color balance (Image> Adjustments> Color Balance) to add more blue-blue hues. Use the settings shown below.
Step 3. Now add a girl. I used my image. You can use your own. Separate the girl from the background with your favorite tool and transfer it to the main image.
Step 4. Now we change the skin color of the girl. Move on Image> Correction> Color balance (Image> Adjustments> Color Balance) and set the settings shown below.
Step 5. Now go Image> Correction> Levels (Image> Adjustments> Levels) and apply these settings:
Step 6. Now choose the tool Healing Brush(Healing Brush Tool) (J) to remove all kinds of defects from the girl’s skin (birthmarks, freckles, etc.). Find a clean skin area, hold down the key Alt and click the left mouse button. Release Alt and click on defects.
Step 7. Now we need to find images with grass. Links in the archive.
(To download images from these sites you have to register for them). Used images should have high resolution, since some of them will be in the foreground.
Transfer the grass image to our main document. Apply to it. Color balance (Image> Adjustment> Color Balance) (Image> Adjustments> Color Balance) and Levels (Image> Adjustment> Levels) (Image> Adjustments> Levels) to give the grass a certain tone. Basically you have to add green and yellow flowers. It all depends on the images used.
Step 8. We will place the grass on our image so that it looks realistic. Many layers of grass will not be visible, so do not worry about the fact that we use the same images. Until the last line of grass (closest to us), we will not need very high-quality images.
The best place to start is to fill in the line behind the girl. Hide small grass leaves. No need to glue all the layers. we will need to place some elements between them. This occupation does not require great skill, but to perform it you will need a lot of patience and imagination.
Step 9. Now place the water in the girl’s hand. We have a splash image that does not need strong editing to get a good result. It is very important to use good images in your works. The better the image, the less you have to work on it in Photoshop.
Cut out the water and place a layer with it under the girl’s layer. Apply layer style color overlay (Layer> Layer Style> Color Overlay) (Layer> Layer Style> Color Overlay), select the color blue, this will help get rid of the green tones. Select Overlap (Overlay) for blending mode (Blend Mode), Opacity set 59%.
Step 10. Now let’s add more water, or rather drops. You need to use images with a white or blue background because then they will be in harmony with our blue sky. I used this image with blue water.
Step 11. Now we will add water curls. We need a good image again. This time we use a photograph of water flowing from a hose. Select the water and transfer it to our main image. Move on Image> Correction> Hue / Saturation(Image> Adjustments> Hue / Saturation) (Ctrl + U) and set the Hue +111.
Step 12. Go to Edit> Free Transform (Ctrl + T) and place water as shown, then go Editing> Transformation> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp). With this tool, distort the water and make it wrap.
Step 13. As soon as it looks like the image below, select the tool. Blur (Blur Tool) (R) and blur the edges of the jet. You can also use Filter> Blur> Motion Blur (Filters> Blur> Motion Blur).
Step 14. Duplicate the water layer and drop it below the original. Apply Gaussian blur (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur) (Filters> Blur> Gaussian Blur) with a radius of about 32 pixel. Tool Eraser (Eraser Tool) (E) wipe that part of the water that goes beyond the body of the girl. Add a bit of yellow green Image> Correction> Color balance (Image> Adjustments> Color Balance) and finally change blending mode from Normal to Soft light (Soft Light).
Step 15. Choosing a tool Dimmer (Burn tool) exposure. install 40% and create some shadows in different zones.
Step 16. It will be easy. Duplicate the layer with water and using Free transformation (Ctrl + T) place it as shown below. Place this layer between the grass layers, as if the water runs between it.
Step 17. Duplicate the water layer again. This time we will create a stream of water closer to us (just put between the layers with grass).
Step 18. In this layer, blur the water. Move on Filter> Blur> Motion Blur (Filters> Blur> Motion Blur) Angle set equal sixteen, and Bias about 30 pixels.
Step 19. Copy the front of the jet, and place it at the back, as shown in the figure. We did this to improve the end of this stream.
Step 20. Now add some details. Copy some pieces of grass, transform for more realism, apply a filter Motion blur and place around the water flow, this will contribute to the effect of movement. Now create small white spheres, apply a filter to them. Motion blur and place in some places of the stream, it will betray him to the individual.
Step 21 Now we will use the stream from the source image. Move the stream to our main image and using Free transformation (Ctrl + T) position it so that it becomes a continuation of the upper jet, using the tool Eraser or layer masks
work on connecting the threads until you achieve the desired result. Move on Image> Correction> Color balance (Image> Adjustments> Color Balance) add green color, below are the settings I used. Finally, tools Dimmer
(Burn Tool) and Clarifier
(Dodge Tool) add shadows and highlights. The water we did added a greenish tint to the water, which shows the reflection of the grass.
Step 22 Let’s use the original image of the water again. Move on Editing> Transformation> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp) to change the stream. Now, place it as shown in the second image. Finally, add shadows and highlights as we did before.
Step 23 Once again use the original image. Using Free transform (Ctrl + T) convert it to the form that is shown under the number 2. Then go Editing> Transform> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp) to bring the image to the result under the number 3. Add shadows and light. It is not difficult because we are doing the same thing as in the previous steps.
Step 24. Nothing new here. Use Editing> Transform> Warp (Edit> Transform> Warp) to achieve the result as in the picture below.
Step 25. Now let’s work on the details. Select a layer with a girl. Use Eraser or layer mask
, to get rid of some of the defects that were formed when transferring the girl to the main image, if any. Especially work on your hair. Also remove some skin defects in the manner described in step 6. On the image shown below, the girl on the left is the original image, the girl on the right is the final version.
Step 26. We are still in the layer with the girl. Choose a tool Dimmer (Burn tool), range set Mid tones (Mid tones) and exposure. equal approximately 25%, and darken areas where there may be water shadow. The image below can serve as a model.
Additionally. Personally, I like the colors and light of the resulting image. But you can use adjustment layers to change the image as you wish. Go to the topmost layer and go Layers> Adjustment Layer> Levels (for example) (Layer> Adjustments Layers> Levels); change the settings of the adjustment layer as it seems more successful. You can also use other adjustment layers.
