This lesson will show you how, thanks to simple steps in Photoshop, you can achieve a soft focus effect on a photo.
Select the photo on which you want to try out the reception.
A portrait shot is best for this.
Click Ctrl + J, to duplicate the layer
Then click Shift + Ctrl + U, to discolor the image
Now follow these steps
Image – Adjustments – Posterize and put in the dialog box
Now change blending mode this layer with Normal on Overlay
Now refer to Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur and set the value 5.2 in the dialog box.
Click OK and now you have a photo with a soft focus effect.
