Step 1

Open the stock image стоковое Beach ’, reduce the size of this image to 400 x 600px. For this we go Image – Image Size (Image> Image Size).

Step 2

Next, open the image ‘Model in bikini’, also reduce the size of this image through the option Picture – The size Images(Image> Image Size).

Choose a tool Polygonal Lasso (Polygonal Lasso Tool (value Feathering (Feather): 1px) to separate the model image from the background.

When highlighting areas of the background between the hands and the body, hold down the Alt key to add highlights to the main selected area.

Press the Ctrl + C keys to copy the selected area, then go to our working paper with the prepared background and press the Ctrl + V keys to paste the copied image of the model.

Let’s go Editing – Free Transformation (Use Edit> Free Transform) to slightly reduce the size of the model image, and also use the option Flip horizontally (flip it horizontally), as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 3

Since the background, where we moved our model, is brighter than the model itself, then we need to correct the brightness of the layer with the model. Being on the layer with the model, go Image – Correction – Brightness contrast (Image> Adjustments> Brightness / Contrast).

Step 4

Open the image ‘Pink Daisy’ and use the tool Polygonal Lasso (Polygonal Lasso Tool), separate the image of the flower from the background.

Press the Ctrl + C keys to copy the selected flower image, then go to our working document and press the Ctrl + V keys to paste the copied flower image.

Let’s go Editing – Free Transformation (Use Edit> Free Transform) to reduce the size of the flower image, as shown in the screenshot below.

Duplicate the flower layer a few times to create the upper and lower contour of the dress.

Once again duplicate the last layer with the flower, and then press Ctrl + T to slightly reduce the size of the duplicate flowers. We need these flowers to create straps on the dress.

Next, create more duplicate layers with flowers of various sizes, arranging flowers all over the dress as an ornament.

Go to the model layer and use the tool Polygonal Lasso (Polygonal Lasso Tool), create a selection, as shown in the screenshot below.

After that, press Ctrl + Shift + J to copy the selected area to a new layer. Next, set the opacity value Fillings (fill) to 0% and apply layer styles Internal glow (Inner Glow) and Color overlay (Color Overlay) to the created layer:

We have a small defect in the bottom of the dress to remove this defect with a tool Polygonal Lasso (Polygonal Lasso Tool), create a selection, as shown in the screenshot below. Fill the selected area with any color.

Remove the active selection by pressing Ctrl + D. Merge all layers together, except for the layer with the background and the layer with the girl. Duplicate the merged layer, and then on the duplicate layer, apply Filter- Blur- Gaussian Blur (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur).

Change the blending mode for this layer to Soft light (Soft Light).

I hope you enjoyed the lesson and it turned out to be useful.
