Have you ever seen a fruit or vegetable with a human face? In this tutorial I will tell you how to do this.
First, find a suitable picture of a fruit or vegetable. You can use my. Load it in Photoshop.
Then find a picture with a human face, which we will impose on the fruit. Or just use my. Load it into Photoshop and use the commands CTRL + C and CTRL + V, copy and paste it onto a document with a pear (or the fruit you choose).
Set the opacity to 45%. Move on Edit – Free Transform (CTRL + T) (Editing – Free Transformation) and rotate the face as in the figure below.
We return the opacity 100% again and activate Eraser tool (Eraser). Use soft round brush with opacity (opacity) 30%. We erase all unnecessary, leaving intact nose, eyes and lips.
Now we increase hardness (hardness) of the brush and gently erase the excess on the finger, which is near the mouth.
Press CTRL + J to duplicate the face layer and hide the copy (by clicking on the eye in the layers panel). Go to the original layer and apply Image – Adjustments – Color Balance (CTRL + B) (Image – Correction – Color Balance) with the following parameters.
After apply Image – Adjustments – Hue / Saturation (CTRL + U) (Image – Correction – Hue / Saturation).
Now the picture should look like this.
Activate the tool Burn tool (O) (Dimmer) (size 70px, midtones (midtones), press 30%) and dim some areas.
Go back to the hidden layer and make it visible again. Activate Eraser tool (E) (Eraser) and erase everything except the mouth, nostrils and eyeballs.
Now apply Image – Adjustments – Levels (CTRL + L) (Image – Correction – Levels).
Activate again Burn tool (O) (Dimmer) with the same parameters and make the area of the nostrils and lips darker.
Choosing a tool Eraser tool (E) (Eraser) with a soft round brush and opacity (30%) and correct those areas that do not look very good.
Looks better already. Now we have to add the skin texture of the fruit or vegetable we use. To do this, go to the background layer and activate the tool. Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) (Polygonal lasso) and create a selection like in the image below.
Press CTRL + J to duplicate the selected area to the new layer. After that, move the new layer to the very top of the layers palette and change the Blending mode (Blending Mode) to Soft Light.
Adjust the brightness and contrast by applying Image – Adjustments – Brightness / Contrast (Image – Correction – Brightness / Contrast).
Take Eraser tool ( E) (Eraser) and adjust the edges of the texture.
Last used Burn tool (O) (Dimmer) (brush 40px, midtones (midtones), pressing 30%) and make the finishing touches.
Here we have a fruit with a human face.
It’s all! Good luck!
