Magic text

This is a magical Photoshop tutorial to begin with the fact that you will create a new document of any size, but with a dark background.

This tutorial uses black. Make sure the base color is white, then take the tool. and write “MAGIC”.

Click the button at the bottom of the layers palette to add an “Outer Glow” style

Here’s the effect you get:

Now duplicate the text layer 2 times (drag the text layer onto this icon at the bottom of the layers palette). Rasterize two text layers, then merge them. Ctrl + E. Move them down below another text layer.

Then go to the menu “Filter” – “Blur” – “Motion Blur” (Filter – Blur – Blur in motion) with angle 90 and distance 20. Click “OK” and lower the Opacity to 85%. Your result should be close to that.

Now you can add some stars with the appropriate brush. Create a new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N) and draw a starry sky behind the letters. Do not forget to change the size of the brush.

If you are happy with your star glade, you can add the same “Outer Glow” style to this layer as the letters.

Here is the result !!!
