We twist the text in Photoshop

In this tutorial you will learn how to quickly create twisted text.

Step 1. Start by creating a new document (Ctrl + N) 600? 600 pixels. Fill the layer with # 0593a4.

Step 2. Choose a tool Arbitrary shape (Custom Shape Tool) and one of the standard Photoshop shapes (Registration Target 2 – a figure in the form of rays), which you see in the picture below. Set foreground color to # 02a0b3 and create a shape like the image below.

This layer must be selected (active layer), we rasterize the form by going to the menu Layer-> Razrirovat-> Figure (Layer-> Rasterize-> Shape).

Step 3. Apply filter Filter–> Distortion–> Twist (Filter-> Distort-> Twirl).

Step 4. It’s time to add a few phrases. We will add text along a curved line. For this effect, activate the tool Pen (Pen Tool) (you need to make sure that you are working in Contours (Paths), not a Shape Layers (). Draw your line using paths.

Now we need to type the text along the curve. Change the foreground color to white (#FFFFFF). Activate the tool Horizontal text (Horizontal Type Tool). Move the text tool to the beginning of the contour. The mouse pointer will change its appearance (it will be perpendicular to the curve). Click the mouse and enter the text you want.

After you write the text, go to the menu Layer-> Rasterize-> Text (Layer-> Rasterize-> Type) to rasterize the layer. Add a few lines of text, repeating all the steps to get the image as in the image below.

Step 5. We need to add more decorative elements for the image. Before you start adding decorations, select Brush (Brush Tool) and one of the standard brushes (Flowing stars) from the Photoshop gallery of the brush.

Press key F5, to change other values ​​of this brush:

Set foreground color # a0d6dc. Choose a tool Pen (Pen Tool) (you need to make sure that you are working in Contours (Paths), not Layer layer (Shape Layers)) and draw a new curve line.

Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N). Right-click on the path and select Perform a stroke (Stroke Path).

Choose a brush in the drop-down menu. Make sure the box is checked Simulate pressure (Simulate Pressure).

Right click on the path again and select Delete contour (Delete Path). Repeat the process several times to make your image look like the image below.

Step 6. You need to add one dark spot in the center of the image. Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) above the background layer. Choose a tool Oval area (Elliptical Marquee Tool) to create a selection in the center of the document and fill the selection with color # 005964.

Remove selection by pressing Ctrl + D and apply Filter-> Blur-> Gaussian Blur (Filter-> Blur-> Gaussan Blur).
